Arusha, Tanzania/ Arusha National Park :
Reach your destination at Kilimanjaro International Airport, also drive into Arusha National Park to our luxurious campsite located at the bottom of Mount Meru, a 14,980-foot volcano. The campsite is at an altitude of about 6,200 feet, which will assist our adaptation.
Mount Meru
Get together for an orientation, make sure your gears, plus get started on a warm-up trek the length of the abundant slopes of Mount Meru, the fifth-highest peak in Africa. maintain your eye out for the typical black-and-white colobus monkey of the area, on top of bushbuck, duiker, buffalo, giraffe, rare birds, plus if we are blessed, elephant and leopard.
Shira Plateau
Daily starts with morning tea and hot water delivered to your tent by our guides. After breakfast, our hike continues through the forest before crossing into the subalpine hagenia zone. We will take our time, drenched in the stunning landscape as acclimating to the height. Altitude: 11,300′, 7-9 hrs hiking.
Summit: Uhuru Peak
Rise in the company of the sun along with head for the summit, mountaineering 1,000 feet and arriving by 9:00 a.m. From our lofty perch 19,340 feet above Africa, take in the superb sweep up of sky as well as peaks. We will relish the moment, and then go down sharply through the Mweka Route. Stop for lunch plus time to rest at Barafu, before ongoing to our camp anywhere a well-earned banquet waits for. End Trek/Arusha
trek into the rain forest along with downward to the Mweka Gate, a quick fall of 4,500 feet. Drive back to Arusha for a festive dinner .Time3-5 hours hiking
